Holy Cross Is NOT a Place

Holy Cross is people committed to “Loving God, Loving Others and Loving a Needy World”

We follow an ancient faith and the Bible as God’s Word, yet at the same time we are constantly trying to rethink what it means to be the church in our day-to-day lives.

This tends to confuse people from outside the family of faith as they often think that being a serious thinker means dumping your trust in the Bible. And while we don’t want people to check their brains at the door, we do believe that the Scriptures are the divine road map to God and to wise living.

With that in mind however, we are quick to admit that we don’t have all the answers…but we know Who does. In reality, we are a wild collection of characters that have come to faith in Jesus with messy, complicated lives as well as squeaky clean ones.

But our common denominator is the fact that we are incomplete souls in need of having our foul-ups forgiven and our lives restored by Jesus who paid for our sins on the cross. We share the peculiar idea that God wants to do wild, wonderful and unique things in and through us.

We think the end product of a church is to create an environment where good things run wild!
